But one of her books that I did read was Silk is for Seduction, and I enjoyed that far more than any of the others, to the extent that I still remember it fairly well. I liked Captives of the Night, but still haven’t managed to read Lord of Scoundrels. I didn’t really fall in love with several of her earlier books, like Not Quite a Lady. I have a strange relationship with Loretta Chase’s writing.
